Along the Yellowhead Highway, two very smart, very wacky brothers run what's gotta be Canada's lowest volume gas station. Roland and Baxter decide that what's needed is one of those attention getting roadside attractions. How about the world's biggest dog! That big puppy's gonna put their little village of Dogbarked on the map bigtime! Then a top TV producer and his attractive assistant get stranded along the Yellowhead. When Roland and Baxter start to outfox "Mr. TV" the surprises just keep coming.

For the two young teenagers Jay and Arty, a one-day visit is agony, but when this turns into a nine month stay, they go through adventures that make them deserving of the Victoria Cross.
