Theatre Northwest is located on the traditional unceded Territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nations.

Theatre Northwest recognizes and honours the recommendations from the Truth and Reconciliation commission with an understanding that the Lheidli T’enneh are stewards and custodians of their lands and waters upon which we are located. We respect and acknowledge the past, present and future relationship we have built with the Lheidli T’enneh First Nations and continue to build.

*A territorial or land acknowledgement is an act of reconciliation that involves making a statement recognizing the traditional territory of the Indigenous people who called the land home before the arrival of settlers, and in many cases still do call it home.
