Playwriting for Youth with Julian Legere
March 21 – May 14
For youth with an interest in theatre and a story to tell. In this combination weeklong Spring Break intensive and virtual mentorship, participants will explore the fundamentals of storytelling and playwriting and each write a draft of their own 10-minute play to be read on the Theatre NorthWest Stage.
Ages: 14 – 25
Dates: March 21 – 25, 12:30 – 4:30pm
March 26 – May 14 (remote mentorship)

For writers or theatre artists new to playwriting. Participants will explore the craft of playwriting and each write a draft of their own 10- minute play to be read on the Theatre NorthWest Stage.

Youth Theatre Camp
Over Spring Break, in this weeklong intensive camp, participants will learn and practice fundamental theatre skills: improv, text analysis, voice and movement, and acting; all while collaborating on playwright Julian Legere’s new adaptation of Jordan Tannahill’s award-winning play ‘rihannaboi95.’
Ages: 13-19
